McCauley Expands Sales and Marketing Effort

Friday, November 11, 2005, Puyallup, WA – McCauley Sound Inc., a loudspeaker engineering and manufacturing company which develops professional high output foreground loudspeaker technologies for the sound reinforcement industry has re-engineered their sales and marketing infrastructure, regionalizing sales in the United States into three territories.

As a key part of this expansion, McCauley Sound has brought Ed Otto onboard to spearhead customer relations and sales in the Western United States territory. Long time McCauley Sound veteran Bruce Anderson has signed on to head their Central United States, which includes the Midwest and Great Lakes territories. Current Vice President of Sales & Marketing Jason Farris will be helping customers on the Eastern Seaboard and Southeast until a regional office on the East Coast can be established.

“Our goal is to expand out from our world headquarters in Puyallup, Washington,” explained Jason Farris, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “By regionalizing sales management to cover three distinct territories, we can be closer to and in better communication with the industry’s sound reinforcement specialists. “

“McCauley spent the first 15 of our 26 years in business growing strictly by word of mouth; and over the years we have earned the privilege of having some of the most loyal customers and partners in the industry,” Farris continued. “Ten years ago, I came onboard and began focusing the company’s sales and marketing potential, building our brand while beefing the company’s infrastructure. We’ve grown steadily each year but now it’s time for us to grow exponentially.”

“Right now, we have scattered pockets of amazing success,” he said. “yet there are still parts of the country where we are not as well known. We need to let people know that we’re one of the few owner / operated companies in the audio business. McCauley Sound Inc.’s current path of reorganization began three years in late 2002 as the company began building a world-class extranet system, allowing the company’s sales, marketing, engineering and contact management systems to be transparently extended worldwide, by simple internet connection, enabling unprecedented levels of communication between the territory managers, sales force, distributors, customers and employees.

“This is groundbreaking for our industry,” said Farris. “We went from a paper and chalkboard sales force out of one factory office to unlimited extended offices across the country and around the world. My initiatives are long term and this next phase will bring us ever closer to the marketplace.”
